Steps
Louis Cheung
Worlds are insulated
Yet touching each other.
People reveling in their room peep
And see their counterparts doing the same
Peculiarly.
Curiosity drives them to cast the tiny key
That breaks the isolation -
What grandeur to connect the worlds with
Such a small piece of metal!
So humble;
Little by little
I shape it,
Mould it as a child indulges in his clay castle.
Lightly I take a step forward,
She takes a step backward.
To and fro, we see the world.
